Etched on the Heart is coming along just great; my fingers are back to the keyboard again. As they say, “life happens.” I’m ready for 2024 to smooth out like a starched business shirt!

I’ve thought for a while of letting you see “behind the scenes” of a writer’s life. I’m excited to share it and all the fun I’ve been having. I pursue these facets below so that my book is enjoyable, inspiring, and may offer a mirror for other’s lives.
Ruby, a friend of mine, wants you to have all you need for your Christmas list. Around the world, children and adults know Santa is THE BEST at list-checking and gift-giving. HO HO HO! So, here’s a suggestion for a great gift, for a special person who loves to read or the one who’s hard to shop for:
I’m thankful Thanksgiving is over… Why? I ate too much! Anyone else feel like that? Just teasing. But truly, I’m thankful for the many, many blessings in my life. And that includes you, my friend and firm supporter. When I feel down, I just remember that there are others whose lives I touch. And you touch mine.
My recent historical discoveries have been about word usage—archaic and ‘modern.’ Some ‘modern’ words were used in Nicklaus and Maria’s time, yet some ‘archaic’ words, you might still recognize. How about these?
