A Season of Rest, Reflection & Renewal
Hello, friends,
Friends, I’ve been scratching my head in wonder: where does this time go? With the year 2025 in full swing, I’ll bet your lives, both business and family, have been moving full throttle!
Resurrection Sunday is April 20th. With this greeting, I’m sharing an inspirational art piece I created a few years ago—a stark symbol of God’s “reckless Love” for the whole of mankind. We’re made intentionally for a personal relationship with the Creator. May this bring you joy this spring.
I’ve taken time off from writing. When my Christmas novella just wasn’t coming together, I had to admit I was more burned out than I chose to admit. Doubts and other concerns clouded my will to write, but it’s not considered “failure” to acknowledge the need to rest, heal, and regroup.
I’ve discovered many opportunities for creating: sewing, gardening, and catching up on friendships and family relationships. For too long, I’d put off enjoying time with Bob, our children, and loved ones, and both old and new friends.
I feel at liberty again to sing at church. Music has always been my passion.
Bob and I must also catch up on necessary housekeeping, like organizing directives and various papers concerning our affairs. This is a priority—leaving clear, uncomplicated wishes for our children to see, including resolving debt and liabilities. We urge you to do that, too.
Just know that you are and will always be our friends. Creative thinking brings us nearer to our true self and the Creator, whether writing, sewing, singing, drawing, repairing, gardening, or simply contemplating our backyard wonders with a cup of coffee.
Thinking of you fits right in with hearing the birds sing. Don’t forget that you’re valuable pieces of our life’s tapestry! I will send a summer greeting. Till then, be blessed and safe.
Warmly,
Ruby and Bob
